The dig moved into a none consecrated area of the churchyard in 2011 and completed the woek in 2015.

Many came to our open day 28th July 2013.
They tried their hands with the trowel, a salted kiddy's pit guaranteed finds.
There was an Illustrated talk in the Church at 2.00pm.
with a display of artifacts.
The group has now (2019) completed 35 years of excavation on the villa site. we are currently investigating a Neolithic/Bronze-age site just 1 mile to the south-east, the finds can be examined on site by prior arrangement.
The remains have now been buried for protectection.
